1. Accounts
When you create an account, you must provide information that is accurate and current. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use.
2. Fees & Payment
Access to the Service may require a paid plan. The applicable fees, billing cycle, and terms are agreed with you when you sign up or when we activate your account.
- Payment: where a plan is paid, a valid payment method is required, and you authorize us to charge the agreed fees.
- Customer payments: payments made by your customers through Chapa are settled to your own connected merchant account.
- Changes to fees: we may change our fees, and any change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle after we notify you.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to sell prohibited items.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Upload content that is illegal, misleading, or infringes someone else's rights.
4. Restaurant Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the content of your menu, including pricing, descriptions, and images, and for fulfilling every order placed through the Service. GebetaLink is a platform provider and is not a party to the transaction between you and your customers.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, remains the property of GebetaLink. The content you upload — your menu, images, and restaurant information — remains yours, and you grant us the permission needed to host and display it as part of providing the Service.
6. Service Availability
We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided "as is" and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for interruptions, though we will make reasonable efforts to restore service promptly.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GebetaLink and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
